There's an analog in there if you think about it.Here comes a special series of four second-Saturday sessions featuring synthesizers, circuit-bending, and sound manipulation. Each will host up to five acts for individual performances, followed by a group improvisation. Players will be in the center of the room, with the audience in the round and free to move at will. The music is expected to range from cinematic and lush to computeresque and urgent.January's performers include Infinite Is, Tiny Little Ghosts, Five Before Chaos, and tOOthpAAt. Possibly one more.The series dates are January 11, February 8, March 14, and April 11, at 7:00 PM. Suggested $5 donation at the door.Players are welcome to use any sort of controllers and processors. If you yourself happen to be a synthesist and/or sound manipulator and would like a performance slot at one or more of the sessions, drop us a line and we'll get that ball rolling. The series is organized and hosted by Evan Parks of the synth duo Infinite Is, we'll get you in touch. There's also room for projection or light artists. First come first served for everything, once it's full it's full.Chances are that it's gonna be louder than usual. We'll have earplugs just in case you want.

The trio's  heartfelt music features stirring three-part vocals and earthy charm, with original songs that span from the streets of New Orleans to the valleys of Appalachia. They're bringing their “traveling music store” of instruments, and local up-and-comer Emily Lyons will open with Josh Maiocco.

If any chairs behind the reserved rows are available on show day, those will be available first-come first-served. You can bring your own portable seating to set up behind the house chairs if you wish, or to use in place of your reserved chair.
