Another wave of COVID-19 postponements. The right call but still a drag.

We were really looking forward to Olivia Nied and Doctora Xingona Diana Alvarez on January 2. And Man Made Tragedies a week from today. And Josh Maiocco with Ezra Vietch the weekend after that.

February 12's

show is still on for now, but probably not gonna happen as scheduled either.

from Texas was going to be here near the front of March, but he had to cancel his whole tour because so many dates got scrubbed; the co-billed

are playing it by ear.

The string isn't likely to stretch on as long as last year, but who knows.

We haven’t been postponing institutionally but we've considered it. So far, we've taken the lead from the performers (or their people if they have people) and backing them up 100%.

When an artist makes the difficult decision to postpone out of concern for their health and yours (and ours), we totally respect and support and honor them and we hope you do too. Being safe is way better than being sorry.

We're aware of Omicron being less severe, especially for those of us vaccinated and boosted. We're aware of the rapid fall-off in the parts of the world where it surged first. That gives us some hope.

Probably won't send out another one of these for a month... unless we get bored, or something we're excited about happens. There's potentially cool behind-the-scenes stuff brewing, as usual. Anyway, talk to you then. Stay healthy and happy.

Look, pancakes.
