Hey, check us out! —
The 2026 schedule is starting to come together — got some returning favorites, and some very cool first-timers. Stay tuned.
A little reminder that the Stage 33 Live video archive exists... 2,300 performance clips! That's a lot. You can graze year by year at stage33live.com/binge/ or head to tinyurl.com/stage33live and click the Shuffle button for a random playlist.
We're banging out the hour-long programming from the archives. Twelve episodes for the first season are assembled, and voiceover is done for five of those. Time-consuming and worky, but we're mostly pleased with how they're coming out. The plan is to get them to broadcasters that hopefully will air them, and we also plan to release them as once-a-month podcasts.These are the intro segments for those five.

Not gonna pussyfoot around it, we're fishing for one or more annual podcast sponsors. Just to cover costs.This is a transactional offer... we'll embed (tasteful and appropriate, at our discretion) host-read acknowledgement spots for a business, concern, or even an individual. Twice per episode. Included forever, perpetual. Impressions every time somebody downloads or streams it until the internet finally collapses in on itself.30 seconds twice per episode for the name of your business (or other concern), location and contact info, description of your products or services, established slogans. (Probably best not to include pricing or other info that's subject to change.)If you wanna sponsor but stay anonymous, we'll honor that.We'd like to use a proper, reliable video-and-audio podcast host that offers unlimited bandwidth plus distribution to the major apps and directories. The cheapest we've found is about $220 a year. And the cost of drives for production and storage is about $50, which is likely to go up, given the tariff situation. So we're calling it an even $300 (which builds in a small cushion for price increases and unexpected minor expenses) for all twelve episodes of the season. That's $25 an episode, cheap.We're also willing to do this per-episode... so if for instance you'd like to sponsor four episodes for $100, that's on the table.Are we making yet another lousy business decision? Oh yeah, definitely. But we're not running a business, we're a nonprofit in word and deed. The bottom line is mission fulfillment.If we somehow manage to get more than the goal for the first year, we'll roll over any excess to next year.This is a ground-floor price. If the podcast ends up being wildly successful (which is admittedly a long shot), we WILL raise the rates.There are overlapping goals for this programming:
More ears and eyes for the performers;
Demonstrate that Bellows Falls in particular, and southern Vermont in general, and the mid-Connecticut River valley at large, is a creative and vibrant place;
We want people to get a taste of what goes on at Stage 33 Live because we think they'll like it.
20-year-old Hunter Studio cat Corduroy who lived in the next room passed peacefully and relatively quickly on the last day of June. There is much sadness. It's not going to be the same coming in to set up for shows without her glaring through the door glass shouting for dad. Corduroy was a champ.
