The Synthfest scheduled for tonight (it's Saturday as this gets typed) is a no-go, of course. You knew that. And next weekend's Simon / McLaughlin / Brink triple-header is off. The two shows in the first half of May are toast... Gail Golec's Secret Life of Death, and Piper & Carson with Jim Paradis.There's one thing left on the schedule before our summer break, Grace Morrison Trio on May 31. We're thinking that it probably won't happen either. All sorts of June and July music festivals and theater events that happen every year all over the place have already been called off. This COVID deal isn't a financial hit to us since we're volunteers, but it's really nailing the musicians hard. Lots of them are turning to live streams... a great opportunity to catch up with some of your favorites, and discover new ones. Tip them if you can. Buy a CD, a shirt.But stay home. If you have to get groceries or something, wear the stupid mask. Keep your distance. Wash your hands.We're taking the unexpected break to chip away at the documentation backlog. But being as how we never publicize the thing because we're so far behind in populating it, that's gonna take a while. We've had more than 1,000 views in the last 28 days, though, which ain't hay. Not viral, but decent for something that's basically a secret. And our aggregate view count is approaching 10,000.So there's that.Anyway, we'll be back.
