A preponderance of the Synthfest players preferred to postpone Saturday... the collective decision was made this afternoon. Don't be fooled, synth players are humans too. Make-up date TBD, but we'll try to make it a doozy.Dan and Jan and Mike agonized over whether or not their Sunday show should go on. After the dominoes really started toppling yesterday, the prudent (and smart) decision was made. Dan is suspending his entire tour, and Jan and Mike are canceling their gigs for the time being. Dan proposed rescheduling to Sunday, March 7, 2021... yeah, a year from now. He'll have a brand new CD hot off the presses and be rarin' to go. The Milkhouse Heaters are on board too, and just might have a new CD of their own as well. Seems like an excellent plan.We'll be keeping in touch with the upcoming performers and there will be decisions made in the fullness of time. For the next while, be sure to check websites and social media for updated info before heading out to any show, ours or others. In more chipper news, we're feeling all warm and glowy at what some of our past performers had to say in this Eagle Times article by reporter Layla Burke Hastings! Couldna be happier.Layla covered a whole lot of territory in the interviews (she really homeworked the thing), so a couple minor mixups under the pressures of deadline are entirely understandable. Just in case anybody notices, we'll clarify. The regular schedule is every three Sundays rather than monthly, which we know is just plain weird. And we haven't really had 1,400 sold-out shows... the performance clip view count on Youtube is currently the equivalent of a bit more than 1,400 sold-out shows. It would take almost four years doing a show a day to get to 1,400 and we haven't been doing them for four years. Plus we usually don't sell out. Yet. Might start to now!Super happy, super grateful.Stay safe out there, people.
