We do have a show tomorrow night, but this is about the one two weeks from tomorrow.
A quick reminder anyway about tomorrow's excellent bill as long as we're here: Touring acts Robert Kuhn and Jaded Ravins are co-headlining with a 7:00 PM start. Advance tickets are $15 (advance sales close at midnight tonight). $20 at the door.Robert Kuhn, on tour out of Galveston, was born in Houston, then bounced around from New York to Pennsylvania, Australia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua for a dozen years. He’s been everything from an Academic All-American linebacker to a vagabond fisherman farmer writing critically acclaimed songs.Jaded Ravins are Kelly Ravin and Halle Jade, bringing original soulful americana and country rock to the stage. Ravin is the former front man of Waylon Speed, and a heckuva player and writer. Here's a little promo short for the show:

John Elliott with Dylan Patrick Ward on Sunday, October 1

California touring artist
. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. As always, limited seating and the event will be recorded and filmed.
John Elliott has been compared to artists from Paul Simon to Death Cab for Cutie’s Ben Gibbard, and called "the Andy Kaufman of folk music." His songs have been prominently heard on Grey’s Anatomy, One Tree Hill, and Californication. He’s been featured in PASTE Magazine and on NPR. Anaïs Mitchell invited him to play the role of Hades in a California tour of Hadestown. He’s been around long enough to have music industry people tell him that what mattered most was MySpace plays. Then it was getting 3,000 likes on the Facebook page. Then it was Spotify plays. He has performed in every state in the union except Hawaii.
Dylan Patrick Ward will open, folk misfit for these absurd times — equal parts compassionate and irreverent, his songs use catchy melodies and blunt, storytelling lyricism to weave tales of outcasts, loveable losers, and people on the brink. He’s drawn comparisons to the Mountain Goats, John Prine, and Randy Newman. A songwriter’s songwriter, he’s shared the stage with acts like Peter Mulvey, The End of America, Jeffery Lewis, and Cloudbelly. Dylan is from right here in Bellows Falls, but making waves all over.
